As Italy’s most successful wine cooperative, Vecchia Torre brings together small farming families in Leverano, in the heart of the Salento peninsula, and turns shared land into exceptional wine. 

The terroir at Leverano sits further from the sea than other Puglian zones, but oceanic breezes filtered through ancient olive groves still reach the vines, cooling the air, balancing acidity and sweetness in the grapes. The soils, alluvial and limestone, are generous and complex.

Negroamaro anchors the lineup with its characteristic dark colour and bold tannins. Primitivo brings richness. Malvasia Nera and Syrah add dimension and depth.

Vecchia Torre proves that the best wine doesn’t always come from a single visionary. Sometimes, it comes from everyone working together.
