Querciabella Chianti Classico has been the centrepiece of the estate’s winemaking operations since the onset. Consistently ranking at the highest levels of critical acclaim, it’s a real delight for wine and food enthusiasts all over the world.
Elegant and vibrant, it strikes a beautiful balance between varietal purity, vibrancy and depth. The grapes are sourced from hillside vineyards across three of the denomination’s best sub-zones— now officially known as UGAs—capturing the finest qualities of high-altitude Sangiovese.
Drawing on more than 15 years of single-site vinifications, Querciabella has perfected a rigorous approach to the variety. Each year, around sixty micro-vinifications preserve the individuality of every parcel, before the winemaking team carefully assembles the final blend, always true to the personality of the vintage.
After a patient maturation, the wine gains suppleness and finesse, highlighting the varietal fruit notes that define great Sangiovese. Versatile and expressive, Querciabella Chianti Classico shines at the table, pairing effortlessly with a wide range of cuisines.
