Arcane – L’Etoile Rouge NV

CREATION
GRAPE: 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre

TERROIR
Triassic soils at the foot of the Dentelles Sarrasines and Grand Montmirail: sand, limestone and clay.

WINEMAKING
Long maceration of over a month without mechanical extraction.
Integration of Viognier skins.

AGEING
15 months in different containers: 1/3 of the blend is aged in new barrels, 1/3 in small concrete vats and 1/3 in casks.

TASTING NOTES
SIGHT: Deep red.
SMELL: Aromas of raspberry and redcurrant, dried flowers, lavender and pepper.
TASTE: Generous with pure and abundant fruit, silky tannins.
